Courtyard with Spanish Touch’

This lovely young couple wanted to rejuvenate their existing courtyard with a Spanish style since the wife is Spanish. As you know I am French so I knew exactly what they were looking for since I went few times to Spain! I also understand the feeling to bring Home at home, to be away of your country you were born even by choice is still difficult and we all miss at some point what feels like Home!

The existing damaged wall needed to be replaced, to make it like a feature we added cladding stones. They also had some drainage issue so during the same time we replaced the bricks pavers by cobblestones to again bring some warmer and Spanish Style. The existing fireplace has been replaced completely and we created raised garden bed including a seating area where we also have some Spanish tiles included, another feature that they could see from the living room.
