Who I am

I am a French Landscape Architect living in Australia since 6 years and I am now an Australian Permanent Resident.

I studied Landscape Architecture at University in France and I  graduated in 2016 with honours. Previously, I had attained an Advanced Diploma in Horticulture which is very complementary to landscape architecture and helps me in my designs.

After my graduation I decided it was time to travel the world and gain new experiences before starting a career in France, although France was not where I felt like I did belong anymore. My English was very poor and I could not have a conversation, but I knew this was going to be the first step I needed to start a better future and accepted this as my first challenge and milestone. I started by spending 3 months in Sweden as a woofer ( doing voluntering works) in a small farm, then I went to Australia for another woofing experience in an equestrian centre in Portland, Victoria. In the meantime I applied for a Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand where I went again on my own. I got a car, did seasonal jobs and met a lot of people, traveling on my own but also with a group of friend which were English speakers. After this amazing experience I decided to come back to Australia with a Working Holidays Visa, and repeated what I have done in New Zealand. I got a car, found jobs throughout the way of my journey, travel from Hobart to Cape Tribulation, it has been an amazing adventure.

Today I am living in Wollongong, NSW with my Australian Partner. I have been working for the same landscaping company since January 2021 and I have successfully led the design company since July 2021 when the previous designer left her job without notice. It was a great challenge and I learned a lot, designing Residential gardens from first initial consultation meeting to the final design presentation meeting, and working with also other builders/carpenters to provide the best services possible to my clients. I also work on bill of quantities that I give to my building manager to provide an accurate quote for my clients.

Now it is time to look for my next challenge where I could get more experience while working closely with my future mentors. I want to be challenged, to keep learning, to have training and to get the support of the whole team, to learn more also about the construction process so that will help me even better for the future design process.

I am looking to be relocate in Victoria or another area of NSW  where I could have a better balanced life style between professional and personal. I am ready for my next chapter, I hope you will enjoy my Portfolio!
